Event Description

This webinar, which is targeted primarily for auditors of Illinois School Districts, will cover topics such as: The Annual Financial Report, Federal Compliance Issues and Common Audit Issues.

Agenda:
THE ANNUAL FINANCIAL REPORT (AFR): An overview of AFR changes and reporting issues identified by Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE).

FEDERAL COMPLIANCE REPORTING ISSUES: An update on the provisions of the Uniform Guidance and future guidance on single audits as observed by ISBE.

COMMON AUDIT ISSUES: An update on the latest Illinois CPA Society peer review comments, common ISBE compliance issues and a discussion on fraud and its impact on Districts.

GASB UPDATE: An update on GASB pronouncements and suggested audit approaches for significant standards
