Speaker: Rich Glaze
Rich Glaze is a partner in Barnes & Thornburg’s Atlanta office in the firm’s environmental law section. Before entering private practice, Rich was a senior attorney at the United States Environmental Protection Agency, where he represented the agency in a matters involving water law, Superfund, hazardous waste, the Clean Air Act and numerous other environmental issues. Since leaving EPA, his practice has included a broad scope of environmental law matters, including civil, criminal and administrative enforcement defense and the defense of other actions brought by federal and state governments. Rich handles matters for companies, municipalities and individuals. He has defended cities in Clean Water Act citizen suits, negotiated consent decrees for municipal utilities and assisted municipalities with permitting and compliance. Rich co-author of a practitioner’s guidebook book on EPA enforcement and recently graduated from the sustainable Capitalism & ESG online course at the University of California, Berkeley School of Law
