Falls are common among older adults in assisted, independent and skilled facilities, but they are not a normal part of aging. Research has shown that most falls are preventable with evidence-based strategies.

In this webinar, attendees will learn how to help their residents prevent falls by implementing evidence-based programs, making environmental changes and developing resident- specific interventions. This presentation will also address post-fall actions, including how to know when emergency medical assistance is necessary, and monitoring for adverse post-fall events.
