Event Description Kathy Ball-Toncic, M.A., instructor
Successful people understand themselves, how their behavior impacts others and how to capitalize on their behavioral strengths. One of the best ways of improving your personal and leadership effectiveness is by identifying your personal style and behavioral tendencies. This determines how you perceive the world, other people and how you act or react to those around you. Knowing this allows you to adjust your approach to bring the best out of yourself and others. The DISC workshop's primary goal is to help you fully understand your personal style, be able to adapt it to meet the demands of the situation and have a more positive impact on others.
The DISC workshop includes:
- Your personal DISC assessment
- Workbook designed for the workshop and as a reference
- 2 sample reports for your practice (to give to clients, family, friends, etc)
- Sample unique selling propositions for your business
Upon completion of the program the student will be able to:
- Understand each style.
- Identify the positive and negative attributes inherent in each style.
- Learn how personal style determines how you react to others.
- Learn quick ways to judge the personal style of others.
- Determine the styles that are and are not complementary to each other.
- Determine the type of work environment and leadership approach best suited for each style.
- Understand how your personal style changes under stress.
- Learn to interpret the DISC assessment for clients or others
