ISCR will present four Basic Training Workshops in 2019. Participants will be introduced to the basic abstracting skills required to submit cancer data to ISCR. We will review the process for identifying re-portable cancer cases, the multiple primary rules, staging, treatment, and how to provide sufficient text to justify coding. The workshop is targeted at new cancer incidence reporters working in hospitals, surgery centers, radiation therapy centers, or doctor’s offices. However, anyone reporting cancer inci-dence cases to ISCR is welcome to attend.
