Applications submitted at this time will be reviewed and processed for the Class of 2017.


In order to apply for membership in NAP, you must first have a user account. You already have a user account if you have attended an NAP event in the past year, or you have previously applied for membership.

 

If you do not have a user account, please go to New Visitor Registration, create an account, and then proceed to the appropriate membership application below.

 

New Applicants:

Please select the appropriate membership type below, (practitioner, scholar, or policy fellow) and complete your application. Distinguished Fellows must be nominated by a current NAP member, or may self-nominate. If you have any difficulty with the process, please contact the NAP Office, by email or phone at 859-514-9184.

 

Distinguished Fellow Dues: $250/year plus individual academy dues

 

YOU MUST BE LOGGED IN BEFORE APPLYING FOR MEMBERSHIP.

Associate Members:

Associate members may be those individuals who do not meet all the requirements to be Distinguished Fellows because they don't fit into the current Academy system, or are early in their careers. Associate members may also be students who may become practitioners, scholars, policy leaders or other professionals, or any other individuals who ascribe to the mission and goals of NAP.

 

If you support the tenets of interprofessional practice and NAP's Statement of Values, please consider joining NAP as an Associate member. No application is required, simply answer a few questions and pay your dues, and you can join today!   

 

Associate Member Dues: $125/year

Carlton V. Horbelt Senior Fellowship

The Carlton V. Horbelt Senior Fellowship was created to honor Dr. Horbelt's support of NAP and interprofessional practice, as well as his work providing dental care to those with developmental disabilities and his passion for teaching others to do the same. Dr. Horbelt was elected to membership in NAP in 2004. He served as Chair of the Dentistry Academy, and also served as Vice President for Academics and Honoring Acheivement.

 

NAP Distinguished Fellows may apply for Senior Fellowship and shall submit information for review and recommendation by their Academy, and be awarded this distinction by vote of the NAP Council. Make sure you are logged in, and then click here to apply for Senior Fellowship.
