Council of the National Academies of Practice

Committee Description

The Council shall: a) establish and maintain a long and short-range plan for the organization; b) ensure that adequate human and financial resources are available to carry out the organization's goals and objectives; c) establish policies for how the organization will do business; d) monitor to insure that those policies are followed; e) provide for the selection of the executive director; and f) provide oversight for all activities of the Corporation. The Council is responsible for, and has the authority to act in, all financial matters of the NAP, including but not limited to all matters concerning all assets of the NAP, whether derived from dues, gifts, bequeaths, subsidies, grants or whatsoever.
