Executive Committee

Committee Description

The Executive Committee shall consist of the NAP President, President-Elect, Immediate Past-President, Secretary, Treasurer, and such Vice Presidents as have been appointed. The Executive Director, if one exists, shall serve ex officio. Meetings of the Executive Committee shall require a quorum of at least four members. The Executive Committee shall meet according to an annual schedule adopted no later than January 31 or at upon the call of the President or any three duly elective or appointed members. The Executive Committee may act on behalf of the Council, taking such actions as are deemed to be necessary between Council meetings, provided however that the Executive Committee may not act to induct Fellows, amend the bylaws, or employ an Executive Director or other executive leader, such decisions being reserved for the Council. When such actions have been taken, the NAP Council shall be provided in a timely manner with minutes recorded by the NAP Secretary.
