Keynote Speaker: David Lloyd, Senior Policy Advisor, The Kennedy Forum

 

Legislative Panelists: Virginia Sen. George Barker (D-39) and Virginia of House of Delegates (to be determined)

 

You’re invited to learn more about the urgent issue of mental health parity, how it affects you as a social worker and your clients in Virginia and nationally, and what we can do to advocate for health insurance equity, including reimbursement, coverage, access to care, and more. Hear from national leader and Senior Policy Advisor David Lloyd about how and why The Kennedy Forum has been working since 2008 on the federal Mental Health Parity and Addiction Equity Act.

 

Virginia and DC social workers will receive 1.5 contact hours for attending. Other social workers need to review their state regulations for CE eligibility.
