Licensure Exam Prep Training

Be prepared. Learn the content and strategies to pass the Bachelor's, Masters, or Clinical exam for social work licensing in Virginia!

This one-day workshop will walk social workers at the BSW, MSW, and clinical levels of licensure through the necessary steps to pass the ASWB exam and reduce test anxiety.

PLEASE NOTE:

•   Arrival time is 8:30 - 8:45 am; Seminar 9:00 am – 4:30 pm

•   Due to temperature variations in the training room, we suggest taking a sweater or shawl to ensure your personal comfort

•    Important updates and parking instructions will be emailed the Wednesday before the event

  • There will be two 15 minute breaks and a 45 minute lunch break provided in the training. An optional box lunch is available to purchase during registration for an additional $27. Because this training is taking place in the hotel, we are not allowed to bring outside food into the training room. This is the fee the hotel charges us for a boxed lunch. If you would prefer not to purchase the boxed lunch, there is a grab and go pantry (The Cupboard) off the main lobby of the hotel where you can purchases pre-made sandwiches, salads, etc.

If you choose the "Bill Me" option during checkout, please mail payment within 7 days of registering in order to hold your seat. You will receive a confirmation email with your purchase information following checkout; this will serve as your invoice, no other invoices will be provided.

If a registrant cancels more than 10 days before the event, a refund will be issued by check or credit back to your credit card, minus a 10% administrative fee.

If cancelation occurs less than 10 days prior to the event, no refund will be issued but you may request a credit towards a future training to be used within 1 year of the cancelation date. Call the Chapter Office (804-204-1339) to cancel within 10 days of the training. A request for credit may be granted at the discretion of the Executive Director in case of a documented emergency.

 

DISABILITY ASSISTANCE/SPECIAL NEEDS

Children under the age of 18 are not permitted into any NASWVA sponsored trainings or events, without prior written consent by the chapter. For special situations and/or circumstances, please call or email the chapter office.
