The goal of the Transplant Nutrition Workshop is to provide state-of-the-art information on the science and practice of transplant nutrition to solid organ transplant dietitians and other transplant professionals. The workshop offers continuing education lectures on current adult and pediatric topics as well as a practice poster session, round-table sessions, and other opportunities for networking and informal practice discussions. This workshop is appropriate for both the entry level and the advanced practice transplant dietitian and provides content to maintain required competency in transplant nutrition. 

At the conclusion of the 2-day Transplant Nutrition Workshop, the attendees will be able to:

• Identify best practices for transplant dietitians in the management of adult and pediatric candidates, recipients, and living donors.
• Discuss emerging trends in transplant nutrition including ERAS, mobile kitchens in transpalnt clinics, and marijuana/CBD use after transplantation.
• Understand the application of frailty assessments and the concepts of pre-habilitation and re-habilitation.
• Have an opportunity for interaction and network building with your peers.

 Cancellation Policy
A refund of the registration fee, less a $50 processing fee, will be made if written cancellation (and request for reimbursement) is received by July 14, 2019.
