CARE OF THE TRANSPLANT RECIPIENT
PURPOSE & GOALS
To provide basic instruction to the transplant professional. The course provides a common background of knowledge and skills among transplant professionals that will pro- mote high standards of care for the transplant recipient. The ultimate goal of the course is to promote high-quality care for the patient population served by the transplant professional.

Discuss the evaluation process, wait list management, peri-operative and post-operative care of thetrans- plant recipient.

Identify current immunosuppressive protocols utilized in the transplant population.
