2016 Careers in History Symposium

The symposium is aimed at undergraduate and graduate students and will include an engaging Lightning Round & Networking event, breakout session, a keynote speaker, and opportunities to talk with a wide variety of history professionals. Besides specific history/public history career information, we will offer fresh perspectives on the many ways in which professional historians, curators, preservationists, government agencies, and small businesses work together.

You may register online for $15 through November 9. Preregistration is strongly encouraged. If space is available, you may register onsite for $20 the day of the conference. Refund requests must be received by email (ncph@iupui.edu) no later than November 9.

This program is sponsored by the National Council on Public History and the IUPUI History Department.

*Please note that registration includes an option to purchase a box lunch for $11. You do not need to purchase a box lunch. The lunch break will be long enough that you are welcome to find lunch in the area or bring your own. There will be no programing during the break.*
