Are you feeling lucky? If so, you just might drive away in a new car!! You don’t have to be a pro to have fun or take home a prize at the OPRA Foundation’s Annual Golf Outing on September 9th at Turnberry Golf Course in Pickerington, Ohio. The day is open to OPRA members, corporate partners, and friends and is always a fun and competitive opportunity for you to meet and network with parks and recreation professionals and corporate partners from around the state. Money raised will go toward student and professional scholarships and research projects supported by the OPRA Foundation. Registration fee includes the putting contest, a boxed lunch, afternoon reception, and 2 beverage tickets. Golfers will also have the opportunity to take part in other contests throughout the day for fabulous prizes. Prizes will also be awarded to the top 3 teams plus the Longest Drive, Closest to the Pin, and Longest Putt for both men and women. You’ll have an opportunity to swing your clubs with Woody—and watch for Tammy and Mindy on the beverage cart! Once again, we’re bringing back the Hole-In-One and the $5,000Putting Contests! Make a hole-in-one on one of the four Par 3’s and win a car or one of three other fabulous prizes! Each golfer is also entered into the putting contest – elimination style.
