Responsible for promoting and developing the profession's agenda through legislative affairs.  This committee works with other OPRA members to assist their elected and appointed officials in consideration and review of pending and current legislation related to park and recreation issues.  The OPRA believes responsible and well-informed legislators will consider the needs of Ohio's citizens, natural resources and the environment on current and pending legislation.  The OPRA pledges that its members will be pro-active in alerting elected officials of possible effects and impacts of pending legislation and will serve as an information resource to Ohio's legislators.
