Does your nonprofit have the essential legal, regulatory, and governance practices in place? This program will utilize the Standards for Excellence Educational Resources to cover:

  • The legal responsibilities of the board
  • The Legal Checklist – this provides a way of doing an internal legal audit on major areas of compliance at no cost other than staff and board time
  • The Fundraising Solicitation and Acknowledgement Checklist  - this ensures they include the legal and regulatory disclosures
  • The Annual Checklist to promote the board education in fulfilling their major fiduciary responsibilities on an annual basis
  • The Form 990 Public Relations Checklist– puts focus on areas that need to be disclosed to the public that involve legal compliance

This program will provide a practical and hands-on learning experience- that is user-friendly! Please bring your Form 990.
