Conference and Annual Meeting

This year’s international conference is designed to allow participants to advance their EAAT education, network with friends and colleagues as well as build new relationships and expand their professional network.

 

2017 Conference Highlights

  • $120 conference registration fee reduction
  • Preconference Workshops on Wednesday, November 8th
  • Thought provoking opening General Session Panel on Wednesday, November 8th from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. “Hurdles or Opportunities? Trends, Innovations and  Disruptions in the EAAT Industry”

  • 50 education session selections covering the following areas: Administration, Instructor, Equine, Program and Mental Health tracks

  • Annual horse expo featuring eight sessions

PATH Intl. has negotiated the following discounted hotel rates. Tax is 16.75% per night.

Note: Please consider booking at the conference hotel. PATH Intl.’s final sleeping room count will assist us in reducing registration costs on future conferences.

 

The contracted rate is good until either the room block sells out or until October 2, 2017. Availability and rate cannot be guaranteed once the room block is sold out or after this date.

What does a full conference registration include?

Is registration required for Preconference Workshops?

Yes, you must indicate your preconference workshop selections during the online registration process or on the printed registration form. There is an additional fee for preconference workshops. You are not required to register for the entire conference to register for a preconference workshop.

 

Horse Expo

The horse expo will take place on Saturday, November 11, at the Kendall County Youth Agriculture & Equestrian Center. It is located approximately 45 minutes from the conference hotel. There are plenty of parking spaces. PATH Intl. will be providing bus transportation, but you must reserve a seat during registration if you would like to take the bus. Buses will depart the hotel at 8 a.m. and leave the horse expo at 3 p.m. returning to the hotel at 4 p.m. Buses will not be looping throughout the day and no bus will be returning at lunchtime, so please plan accordingly.

 

Can I register for one day of the international conference?

No. The only single-day registration available is for the preconference workshops.

 

Do I have to select which conference session I will be attending?

No. Pre-selection of conference sessions is not necessary this year. However, we do recommend that you review the agenda ahead of time and arrive early to the sessions you would like to attend. Session seating is first-come first-serve and entrance to the room will be closed once the room has met a safe capacity determined by the hotel.

 

What is the cancellation process?

All cancellations must be provided in writing. Please email eholdman@pathintl.org should you need to cancel.

 

Cancellation Policies:

  • A full refund is given if a written cancellation request is received in the PATH Intl. office by October 6, 2017.
  • A 50-percent refund is given if a written notice is received in the PATH Intl. office between October 7, 2017 and October 17, 2017.

Individuals who do not give written notice to PATH Intl. prior to October 17, 2017 will not receive a refund.
