This presentation will explore issues and trends in the use of social media and technology by lawyers, law firms, and clients. The discussion will include an overview of ethical best practices in legal marketing, strategies for developing an ethical social media presence and special considerations regarding attorney-client privilege, competence, confidentiality, and the use of social media platforms including Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn and electronic data storage.

Time:  3:00 to 5:00 p.m. 

Registration: 2:30 to 3:00 p.m.

Cost: $35 RCBA members; $50 non-members

We cannot offer the live teleconference to law students for free. Law students may still attend the live presentation for free.
