Civil Commitment of Sex Offenders*

Minnesota recently released the first person from the Minnesota Sex Offender Program. Until now, no one has been released since the program was created in 1994. This CLE will discuss the current legal and ethical issues surrounding representing clients charged with sex offenses and the potential for civil commitment.
