Event Description

This two-hour online class will help you lay some of the basic groundwork needed to understand the Dublin core elements and to adapt the CONTENTdm administrative template to incorporate best practices.


Learning Outcomes:

  • Understand the basic Dublin Core elements
  • Identify best practices within the field
  • Adapt the CONTENTdm administrative template to reflect Dublin Core best practice

This class is ideal for catalogers, volunteer catalogers and those involved in a CONTENTdm project for the first time. It may also be useful for those that want to acquire knowledge of Dublin Core and the CONTENTdm interface. It is also ideal for anyone simply interested in knowing more about the schema and how it may be applied in all kinds of digital projects.


This class will be held in the Lyrasis Adobe Connect meeting room. Log-in information will be emailed approximately one week before the course.
