Event Description

This presentation will highlight free and low-cost activities for students to learn and participate in building skills for future opportunities in STEM careers. A variety of STEM career resources will be shared from computer science to NASA. You do not want to miss out on this collection of STEM resources to support your youth library program.


About Denise:   
Denise Wright is a face to face and online STEM Educator, from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. She is Co-President of the International Society for Education STEM Professional Learning Network and volunteers for NASA as a Solar System Ambassador. In her own community she founded an astronomy club for adults, Grand Strand Astronomers, and a club for students called AstroSTEM. She has presented locally and nationally on topics in STEM Education. Her passions include learning about emerging technologies, astronomy, coding, and robotics.
