This two-hour live online class will introduce students to the basics of Dublin Core and describe and explain how to create good, well-crafted Dublin Core records in CONTENTdm.

- Identify best practices within the field
- Adapt the CONTENTdm administrative template to reflect Dublin Core best practice
Intended Audience:
This class is ideal for catalogers, volunteer catalogers and those involved in a CONTENTdm project for the first time. It may also be useful for those that want to acquire knowledge of Dublin Core and the CONTENTdm interface. It is also ideal for anyone simply interested in knowing more about the schema and how it may be applied in all kinds of digital projects.
