This two-part online class will be held on June 13 and 20, 2013 from 10:00 - 11:00 am. Students must attend both sessions.
Prezi is cloud-based presentation software used by businesses and educational institutions throughout the world. Prezi allows users to create presentations on a virtual canvas, with capabilities to zoom in and out and navigate in a 2.5D environment.
During this interactive, two-part class you will:
- Set up a free Prezi account
- Learn how to use Prezi templates
- Learn how to navigate on the canvas
- Learn how to add content to a presentation
- Create a practice presentation
- Explore a few of the millions of freely available Prezi presentations on the Web
You will set up and learn how to create your practice presentation during the first session, and then add content to your presentation between sessions. We will discuss your progress and questions during the second session along with additional tips for successful Prezi presentations. Attendees are required to have Internet access between classes so they can work on their presentations.
This class will be delivered online. Log-in information will be emailed approximately one week before the course.
