The Library Volunteer series includes three one-hour webinars on recruiting, managing and retaining volunteers.
Part 1: Recruiting Volunteers for Your Library
Volunteers in our libraries can be a huge benefit and/or a tremendous hassle for everyone. The process of finding the “right” volunteers begins with effective recruitment.
This webinar will look at four critical areas in volunteer recruitment:
1. Determining who you should be looking for (who fits and who doesn’t)
2. Making the best use of your time by determining the best places to look for the volunteers
3. Understanding the Human Resources of utilizing volunteers
4. Setting expectations for volunteering in your library
This webinar will be delivered via SEFLIN Connect. Log-in information will be emailed approximately one week before the course.
