This webinar is part one of a two series webinar. The series will cover steps on becoming and planning for trauma informed services in a library setting. Part one will cover becoming a trauma-informed library workforce. This includes assessing a library’s readiness for trauma informed services, emotional labor, toxic workplaces, and self-care. 

 

Presented by: Beatriz De La Espriella is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who provides professional development and training surrounding mental health issues. She is a certified Trauma Informed Care professional and a certified Youth Mental Health First Aid trainer. Beatriz has provided training to school staff in areas of child abuse, suicide, crisis response and mental health awareness. Beatriz has worked with school aged children and their families to strengthen and manage their quality of life. She also has over nine years of experience working with the immigrant community, where she has completed multiple community trainings. Beatriz holds a master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from Rutgers University.
