Music Production and Creative Songwriting in Libraries: Empowering Staff, Engaging Community Artists, Exploring Creative Programming Possibilities

This face to face training will take place at the

After completing this training participants will be able to:

  • Understand the songwriting processes 
  • Have an idea of music sequencing
  • Understand the role of melody and lyrics
  • Understand the role of rhythm and harmony
  • Understand the basics of Garageband 
  • Understand the role of a MIDI controller
  • Understand how to sequence a drum track
  • Understand the basics of setting up the recording studio
  • Understand some basics of Adobe Audition
  • Understand basic editing and mixing
