Learn a variety of ways that Librarians Rock! The presentation will include literature/book recommendations, games, crafts, musical instruments and many additional creative ideas. Attendees will leave the workshop with program ideas they can implement immediately. We will share a variety of educational, fun and creative, zero cost to low cost programs that are easily reproducible.
Presenters: Olivia Wilson and Katherine Kastanis
Olivia Wilson is the Head of Youth Services at Dunedin Public Library in Dunedin, Florida. Her special interests are Early Literacy and assisting programming librarians with crafting! She has presented many FLYP programs for summer reading, other Neflin and Seflin courses as well as several FLA presentations.
Katherine Kastanis is the young adult librarian and young adult volunteer coordinator at Dunedin Public Library. She has worked in public library youth services for over 13 years. Katherine has presented numerous training workshops and webinars along the way throughout Florida. She is always looking for ways to increase teen and youth presence in her library and beyond.
