Self-care has recently picked up momentum and it has become a buzzword for many to use. But what is self-care and how do you maintain it? Especially, in a library setting where staff serve the community and the needs of others. This webinar will define self-care and assist staff in identifying ways they can make self-care sustainable.
Presented by: Beatriz De La Espriella is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who provides professional development and training surrounding mental health issues. She is a certified Trauma Informed Care professional and a certified Youth Mental Health First Aid trainer. Beatriz has provided training to school staff in areas of child abuse, suicide, crisis response and mental health awareness. Beatriz has worked with school aged children and their families to strengthen and manage their quality of life. She also has over nine years of experience working with the immigrant community, where she has completed multiple community trainings. Beatriz holds a master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from Rutgers University.
