This two-part online class will be held on May 23 and 30, 2013 from 12:00 - 1:00 pm. Students must attend both sessions.
Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) help describe basic design elements like colors and shapes, so that a webpage will display exactly as a Web designer wants it to appear on the Web. Essentially, CSS helps give a webpage a distinct look and feel.
In this 2-part webinar you will:
- Learn what CSS does and appreciate its importance in Web design
- Recognize and use general CSS grammar (e.g., syntax, semantics, vocabulary)
- Understand how to link a CSS file to an HTML document
- Create a Web designers toolbox
- Design a basic webpage using CSS
Participants will be given server space to create their own page.
This class will be delivered online. Log-in information will be emailed approximately one week before the course.
