About this Session:
In this short webinar, Ewan and Alex will look at some simple ways to format and enhance your presentation skills and visual materials so that you can increase audience engagement. 
After the webinar participants will be able to:
-structure a presentation in a way that is memorable and engaging
-design slides that help support their presentations
-develop strategies and employ techniques that help engage their audience

About the Presenters:
Ewan Gibson is the Business and eLearning Librarian at Humber College’s North Campus in Toronto. Over the past 7+ years, Ewan has been involved in supporting digital literacy through the creation and support of media labs and makers spaces, both in his current role at Humber and elsewhere. As part of his work with digital literacy, he has delivered countless workshops on presentations to college students and faculty, as has presented on the topic at education and library conferences.
Alexandra Tome is a library technician at Humber College’s North campus in Toronto, where she provides research assistance and creates marketing materials and training resources. Alexandra is also involved in the planning, creation, and support of the library’s upcoming media lab / makerspace, set to launch in Fall 2019. These new spaces will allow students to film, record audio, 3D print, and practice presentations.
