Event Description

Are you planning for a digitization project? Whether you are new to digitization or looking to expand your efforts, you may be considering the options of outsourcing a portion or all of your project, or keeping the work in house.

In this two hour live online class, key questions to consider prior to outsourcing a digitization project - "who, what, when, where, why and how" will be considered, along with the pros and cons of outsourcing, tips for developing a successful outsourcing proposal, and best practices for working with vendors.

This class is funded in part by the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) Division of Preservation and Access.

This class will be held in the Lyrasis Adobe Connect meeting room. Log-in information will be emailed approximately one week before the course.
