Join Cheryl Kohen, Emerging Technology Librarian at Daytona State College, as she highlights the functionality and uses of the virtual pin-board social networking site, Pinterest!  This presentation will discuss the current practices of the DSC Pinterest boards, tips on creating content, marketing advice, how to connect your social medias together, best practices, and overall, how to create a fun and engaging social media presence. Participants will learn practical knowledge of how free tools like Pinterest and other social media can create an approachable and likable brand for the library.

This webinar will be delivered via SEFLIN Connect. Log-in information will be emailed approximately one week before the course.

Cheryl is currently the Emerging Technology Librarian at Daytona State College. She graduated from both the Simmons College undergraduate program as a double major in English and Philosophy, as well as receiving her master's degree from the Simmons College Graduate School of Library and Information Science. Staff from Florida libraries may register for this workshop at no charge. Priority will be given to SEFLIN members. Non-members will be placed on a waiting list and added as space permits after the registration deadline.
