When is the last time you dealt with change? Last week? Yesterday? Five minutes ago??

Change, of course, is inevitable. We have changes in automation systems, budget changes, technology changes, staff changes, changes in work schedules, even our patrons change. Our tendency to deny or resist change only compounds our stress. And still...change happens.

In this webinar, we’ll discuss why change is sometimes both an opportunity and an obstacle. We’ll look at some of the reasons for change and why most of us resist it. We’ll also learn how to deal with that resistance – in others and in ourselves. 

We’ll start by getting right down to the nitty-gritty. Why does it happen – and why do I have such a tough time dealing with it?  What can I expect when I’m hit with yet another big change in my life, my environment, my work?  We’ll also learn how to avoid that energy-draining – but natural - “resistance trap” that is often so easy to step into.

Together we’ll discover healthy ways to deal with the stress that constant change can bring. We will discuss 16 ways to help each of us sail our own ship – and not let the winds of change blow us off course.
