A monthly webinar featuring innovations in library technology.

This webinar features the personal archival program of the Lakeland (FL) Public Library.  Join LuAnn Mims as she discusses how the library developed the program and the tools you will need to do the same! users create personal digital archives. 


Diana Silveira is the President of Novare Library Services, a company that focuses on web, mobile and infrastructure services for libraries. Previous to starting Novare Library Services, she was the Virtual Reference Manager for Florida’s Ask a Librarian Service and coordinator for Florida’s Statewide Delivery System. She presents regularly on implementing technology, best practices and privacy issues online. She also works with libraries to deploy new technologies and develop new mobile and desktop.


LuAnn Mims is the Special Collections Librarian at the Lakeland History Room at the Lakeland Public Library. Previously she worked as Archivist for Florida Southern College, Librarian for Bok Tower Gardens and Historian-Genealogy Librarian at Polk County History Center as well as an Adjunct instructor for Florida Southern College (Introduction to Public History). She as worked on a number of projects to digitize and promote collections. Her focus is to guide patrons on best ways to preserve their memories into a digital format.
