Family Nights: A Success Story from Vaughan Public Libraries
6/25/2019
12:00pm - 1:00pm

This event is available ONLY for attendees in the State of Florida

About this Session:
Vaughan Public Libraries has had a year of successful after-hours events for busy, working families.  Identified as a strategic priority for 2018 and a hard to reach user-group, families with working parents often can't make it to weekday or Saturday programming. The Family Nights were designed to offer this group an opportunity to explore, learn and enjoy each other at the library.

About the Presenter:
Dina Stevens works for Vaughan Public Libraries as the Librarian II - Program and Event Development. Having piloted the position for the organization, her first year and a half has been one of innovation and unchartered territory.  Dina is responsible for coordinating and developing new programs and events across 10 library branches. She received her MLIS from Western University in 2010.
