Library Safety and Security

SEFLIN Springboard:  Innovative Solutions to Barriers to Library Services is a monthly moderated online discussion for librarians focused on sharing innovative solutions to common issues and barriers to library services.

On the 3rd Thursday of the month from 9:00 AM -10:00 AM SEFLIN will bring to you (on your desktop, laptop, mobile device) an opportunity to hear how other libraries are working to solve similar issues or barriers to meeting the needs of their communities.

Each month we will focus on a topic and begin an important conversation with a panel of librarians who will discuss their challenges and solutions with participants.  This on-line discussion format will allow for all participants to join the discussion and share their ideas.

Panelists

Will Fowler, Library Operations Administrator, Miami-Dade Public Library System, Main Library

Elizabeth Prior, Director, Branch Services, Palm Beach County Library, Main Library

Barbara Sorondo, Health Sciences Librarian, Florida International University, Green Library

Moderated by:  Jennifer Pratt, Executive Director, SEFLIN
