Event Description

The two-part Fair Use of Copyright Materials webinar series is geared toward school media specialists and youth services staff in public libraries.

In the past few years, educational fair use guidelines have undergone major revisions expanding opportunities for teachers and students to use copyrighted materials. Common Core Standards specify digital media use and publication, implying fair use will be a common topic in all ethical classrooms. This webinar will overview copyright concepts such as public domain and will detail five Best Practices for digital media use.

This 60-minute webinar will be delivered via Adobe Connect. Log-in information will be emailed approximately one week before the course.
