Local Library Rules and Policies:
  Library Use Privileges for SEFLIN Member Libraries:
  • Lending privileges are offered to SEFLIN cardholders.
  • There is a limit of 5 items per card.
    Books check out for 3 weeks.
  • Music CDs may not be checked out.
  • Overdue fines are 25 cents per day per item.
  • Replacement fees for all books are $65.00 per item.
  • Videos and DVDs must be used in the library.
  • Due to database licensing agreements and Division of Information Technology policies, SEFLIN card holders cannot be logged on to computers.

SEFLIN Cards Issued to Barry University Members:

  • SEFLIN cards will be issued to current Barry University faculty, staff or students only.
  • A current Barry University ID card must be presented at the time of application.
  • Faculty and Staff will be issued 1 card that expires at the end of the current fiscal year.
  • Students will be issued a new card each academic semester.
  • In order to be issued a SEFLIN card each person must be in good standing in the Library.
   
Hours of Operation:
  Regular Semester Hours (hours of operation are subject to change):
  • Sunday 10:00 a.m.- Midnight
  • Monday - Thursday 7:30 a.m. - Midnight
  • Friday 7:30 a.m. - 10:00 p.m.
  • Saturday 8:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m.

Summer Hours (hours of operation are subject to change):

  • Sunday 12 noon - 10:00 p.m.
  • Monday - Friday 8:30 a.m. - 10:00 p.m.
  • Saturday 10:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m.
