Event Description

SIMB's annual meeting and exhibition continues to be an excellent opportunity for scientists and engineers from academia, government and industry to exchange information, share ideas, network, and advance the application of microbes, mammalian cells, and enzymes for industrial processes.

A program committee consisting of leaders from the industrial and academic communities has been assembled and a first-rate scientific program consisting of over 40 symposia has been put together covering the following topics: Biocatalysis, Environmental Microbiology, Fermentation & Cell Culture, Metabolic Engineering, and Natural Products.
