By the end of this course you should be aware of how the global economy impacts your local
real estate market and be prepared to serve foreign clients and customers in your local market.
You will learn:
- How to identify local market opportunities and prospect for global business in your local market.
- How to adapt your core real estate skills and knowledge base to service foreign and diverse clients and customers.
- How to develop a network of contacts that can lead to referral business.
- To recognize available visa statuses for foreign real estate owners and investors and guide foreign clients and customers to see expert advice.
Course note: This course is the prerequisite course for the CIPS Designation. You must take this course before taking any other CIPS courses. Upon completion of this course, you will receive elective credit towards the ABR and CRS designation (applies to U.S. members only).
