SWS-NE Annual Meeting & Regional Research Conference

Event Description

The New England Chapter of the Society of Wetland Scientists invites you to participate in the Chapter’s 1 day Regional Research Conference and annual business meeting.  The conference theme is Wetland Assessment and Mitigation.  Speakers from the following organizations will present the findings of their research:

 

Nantucket Conservation Foundation, US Army Corps of Engineers, University of Massachusetts, Massachusetts DEP, The Nature Conservancy, Connecticut DEEP, University of Rhode Island

 

Topics will include forest floodplain and tidal wetland restoration and responses to drivers of global change, landscape and local level functional assessment, and mitigation success.
