The USACE, in conjunction with the MDC and MDNR, have been working on the Grand River Basin Project study. The focus of the study is to examine issues affecting the area including:

The USACE will hold a workshop describing their methods of data collection, hydrology and ecosystems functions modeling, and restoration. Various sites that show the ecological degradation will be toured. The SWS Central Chapter will work with the USACE to help develop solutions.
