All Roads Lead to EXPO!  

Save the date! It's time to mark your calendars now for the 2016 UMA Motorcoach EXPO in Atlanta, GA on January 31 - February 4, 2016. Your business can't afford to miss this annual event! UMA Motorcoach EXPO gives you all-inclusive access to top-of-mind topics in education sessions, the latest products and services in the exhibit hall and networking opportunities with your industry peers and colleagues.



Important On-Site Information

We are l about one week away from the start of the 2016 UMA Motorcoach EXPO in Atlanta, Georgia. We hope you are as excited as we are for the upcoming show. Below is some important information that will make your trip to Atlanta as smooth as possible.

Shuttle Information

Complimentary shuttles will run from the airport (ATL) to UMA's host hotel, Hyatt Regency Atlanta on  Sunday, January 31 from 11 am – 7 pm. Upon your arrival at ATL, please head to baggage claim LL2 South Terminal. Please look for people with UMA signs who will be able to help you find UMA buses.  

Complimentary shuttles will also be provided during the week from the Hyatt Regency Atlanta to/from the Georgia World Congress Center, Hall C.  For a complete transportation schedule, click here UMA's transportation will be provided by UMA members who are part of the Georgia Motorcoach Operators Association. 


You will be able to pick up your badge and other registration materials at the UMA EXPO Registration Desk in the Georgia World Congress Center, Halls C1 & C2 Lobby. Registration will be open during the following times:

  •          Sunday, January 31– 10:30 am – 5:00 pm
  •          Monday, February 1 – 7:30 am – 6:45 pm
  •          Tuesday, February 2 – 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
  •          Wednesday, February 3– 8:00 am – 1:00 pm

It’s not too late to register either! You can purchase your registration on-site at the UMA Registration Desk.

UMA EXPO Exhibit Hall

EXPO is definitely the place to see all of the industry products and services in one place, at one time. Take full advantage of the Exhibit Hall for valuable face time with companies you do business with or are interested in doing business with. The 2016 UMA EXPO floor will feature close to 200 suppliers. The UMA EXPO floor and Exhibitor List can be viewed by clicking on the green navigation bar at the top of the page.  

Education Sessions

Our education sessions cover a wide range of topics to help mkae your company more successful. We have concurrent solutions sessions  that cover Operations, Finance, Marketing and a track for Small Fleet Operators We also have a full slate of session in the exhibit hall. Your full registration entitles you all-inclusive access to UMA's Education Sessions. From traditional classroom sessions to demonstrations and presentations in the exhibit hall, there’s something for everyone! The the education sessions can be viewed by clicking on the green navigation bar at the top of the page.

  • UMA Welcome Reception – Back by Popular Demand | Sunday January 31st: 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM – Hyatt Regency Atlanta

The UMA Welcome Reception has been reinvigorated. It's the perfect place to meet up with your bus buddies and industry friends, and for new attendees to come and feel welcomed. The event will be hosted at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta.

  • UMA EXPO Opening with Keynote Ambassador Andrew Young, Legislative & Regulatory Update, and UMA Active Member Meeting | Monday, February 1st: 8:30 - 11:00 AM – Georgia Ballroom

Then attendees will be brought up to speed on key federal legislative and regulatory initiatives during the Legislative & Regulatory Update. This will be followed by UMA's annual membership meeting where you can hear updates from the leaders of your association.

  • UMA Luncheon | Monday, February 1st: 12:30 - 1:45 PM – Georgia Ballroom

  • UMA EXPO Sneak Preview After-Party! NEW UMA EVENT | Monday, February 1st: 7:00 – 10:00 PM – World of Coca-Cola

Gather with all your industry colleagues for an evening filled with lots of wonderful food, drinks and fun! The party will be held at the World of Coca-Cola. Explore and learn about the world's best-known beverage brand and how it has evolved over time. It's an experience you can have only in Atlanta! You will even have the chance to taste 100+ Coca-Cola products from around the globe.   • 2nd Annual Go Motorcoach Fundraiser & Party – Glow Motorcoach | Monday, February 1st Immediately following the World of Coca-Cola event – STATS

Join us and raise your glass to the industry we know and love, at the Second Annual Go Motorcoach Fundraiser & Party. The proceeds for this event will go directly towards the Go Motorcoach Campaign. The cost to attend is $25 per person. You can purchase tickets at UMA Registration, Booth 134 or at the door. STATS is within walking distance of the World of Coca-Cola.

  • UMA Leadership Awards Celebration and Cigars & Cordials | Tuesday, February 2nd: Begins at 6:30 PM – Georgia Ballroom

Dress Attire is now business casual, bars will remain open throughout dinner and attendees will have a chance to win $4,000 worth of gift cards! Be sure to bring your business cards. Enjoy lively music from the Alter Ego Band.

  • UMA Bus Operations Site Visit | Wednesday, February 3rd: 12:15 – 2:30 PM

Take a tour of Southeastern Stages, Inc.'s nearby facility. You will be guided through various departments where you will have the opportunity to interact and ask questions. The first tour departs the Georgia World Congress Center at 12:15 PM and will return to the Hyatt Regency Atlanta. The 2nd tour depart the Hyatt Regency Atlanta at 1:30 PM. This session is 1st come 1st served.

Book Your Hotel Room! Reservations in UMA's hotel block are now open. The Hyatt Regency Atlanta will act as UMA's host hotel for the 2016 UMA Motorcoach EXPO.
