The ABCs of State Organizations: WGR & NFWL Networking Happy Hour

Sep 15, 2014 07:00pm

Event Description

The State Relations Task Force is excited to continue this event series which provides WGR members with new and unique opportunities to learn about the wide variety of state public policy organizations.  Given the number of public policy groups focused on state relations, understanding the playing field of policy maker organizations at the state and local level can be a challenge.

Please join the WGR State Relations Task Force on Monday, September 15, for the second installment of The ABCs of State Organizations: Understanding the Playing Field networking happy hour featuring The National Foundation for Women Legislators (NFWL).

The mission of the NFWL, a non-partisan 501c3, is to provide women elected officials with strategic resources to elected women leaders for leadership development through conferences, seminars, educational materials, professional and personal relationships and networking.
For more information on NFWL, please visit their website at
www.womenlegislators.org.

This event will give you the opportunity to not only meet and mingle with NFWL staff and legislative leadership as well as fellow WGR members with an interest in state relations, but also learn about the benefits of participating in NFWL as a private-sector sponsor or meeting attendee.

Sponsorship opportunities ARE available!  Please contact Tina Phillips  for more information.
