Jun 28, 2018 02:00pm

Event Description

First established by the Energy Policy Act of 2005 and expanded by the Energy Independence and Security Act of 2007, the Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS) has gained a variety of friends and enemies. Whether they love or hate it, the RFS has increased in notoriety over the years due to recent activity by the Trump Administration. Now, with increased interest in RFS reform from both Congress and POTUS, discussion of what to do with the program in the future is gaining momentum and starting discussions with a very diverse group of stakeholders.

Join the Energy, Environment & Agriculture Task Force for this event with two RFS expert panels. The first panel will feature representatives from a diverse group of organizations, balanced between competing interests in the future of the program. The second panel will include speakers from the EPA and congressional offices currently active on the issue.
