Do the words “budget reconciliation” make your head spin? Have no fear, join us for a primer on the budget reconciliation process.

Budget expert, Sandy Davis, will run through the ins and outs of the budget reconciliation process so that you can make sure you can anticipate any impact to your organization’s legislative agenda.

Sandy is a senior advisor with the Bipartisan Policy Center (BPC). Sandy joined BPC in May 2016 after over three decades of experience working for Congress on Federal budget issues.  Sandy served as the Associate Director for Legislative Affairs at the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) from 2003 until July 2015 (when he retired from the Federal government).  Sandy was CBO’s principal liaison to Congress, with a focus on maintaining strong working relationships with the major budgetary committees of the Congress and the Congressional leadership. Prior to his appointment as Associate Director, Sandy was CBO's senior budget process specialist, preparing CBO reports and testimonies on the Federal budget process, including proposals to reform the process.

Payment, Replacement & Refund Policy
WGR event registration fees must be paid in advance. If you are unable to attend, you may send a substitute, however you are responsible for the difference in fees if the individual is a non-member. The deadline to receive a refund is three (3) business days prior to the event. The request must be received in writing, prior to the deadline.
