In this session, leading scholars of the lobbying profession will share their research on gendered trends in lobbying. They pay specific attention to the types of organizations where men and women in government relations work, the kinds of clients they represent, and the issues they advocate. They will address how women in government relations face unique biases that women lawyers, scientists, academics, and business executives may not because of the political nature of their work.
