Join WGR for our premier event of the year – our annual Spring Reception!
The Spring Reception is one of the largest spring networking parties in Washington and is a must-attend for movers and shakers (men included!). This year’s event, aptly themed “New Heights for Women Leaders,” will once again be held at Union Station’s Columbus Club, conveniently located on Capitol Hill, from 5:30-8:30pm and will feature cocktails, heavy appetizers, live music and a silent auction (new this year!).
The Spring Reception brings together Members of Congress, Hill staff and the government relations and public affairs community to honor Congressional leaders who embody the vision of WGR – to advance and empower women in our field. This year we will be honoring two outstanding Members of Congress, Senator Mary Landrieu and Congresswoman Cathy McMorris Rodgers, as well as our very own Distinguished Member, Angel Riley.
The Spring Reception has been designed to be in compliance with the requirements for widely attended events.
MEMBER: $70 regular, $80 onsite
NON-MEMBER: $90 regular, $100 onsite
Government employees are complimentary but must pre-register. This is a widely attended event.

Charitable Outreach and Spring
WGR is proud
to be partnering with Sasha Bruce Youthwork
for this special event. Sasha Bruce is a local organization dedicated to improving
the lives of our at-risk youth and families in the Washington area. Please
consider bringing a charitable
contribution of new or gently used after school activities such as games, sports equipment and
craft kits. Tax forms will be provided onsite. Thank you for your support
of WGR and our community.
Payment & Refund Policy
WGR Registration Fees must be paid in advance and are non-refundable. You may substitute someone else in your sector for your registration, without penalty. Membership benefits are non-transferable. If your replacement is not in your membership sector, you will be responsible for the difference in fees.
