WGR has been a marketing partner of the Professional Women in Advocacy Conference (PWIA) since its inception five years ago. We are pleased to be taking our partnership to the next level. In the past, our marketing partnership consisted of promoting the conference as well as discounted registration fees for WGR members. This year and moving forward WGR will assist with the planning and execution of the conference.
WGR and PWIA are naturally aligned, focused on empowering female advocates through networking and professional development. This year we are proud to officially partner with PWIA – we are stronger together!
This collaboration will result in greater benefits for our WGR members including a $100 discount on registration. In addition, you and our partners will have access to supplementary programming and new networking opportunities with professionals from different regions and disciplines. WGR members are also welcomed to take advantage of volunteer and leadership opportunities with the conference.
Conference tracks will have something for both junior and senior level practitioners.

PWIA is a national conference providing professional development and leadership training to women in all areas of advocacy including federal, state and local government relations, public affairs, community relations, public policy, legislation, Congressional relations, community activism, political engagement and campaigns. Attendees will hear from successful lobbyists and communicators, elected officials, professional staff, industry experts, and public policy specialists on a wide variety of how-to topics relevant to legislative and regulatory advocacy. The agenda has been devised using the input of survey participants in the government relations industry so YOU helped create the conference experience you wanted.
