Program Highlights

University of Georgia (UGA) Skidaway Institute of Oceanography—Mike Sullivan & Chuck Hartman
Mike Sullivan, External Affairs Liaison, will introduce and describe the Skidaway Institute’s mission, assets and operations. Chuck Hartman, Operations Manager, will introduce and present on the Institute’s barn renovation project to transform the Roebling cattle show barn.  The concrete and steel beam structure was built in 1947, when the Skidaway campus was known as Modena Plantation, and Robert and Dorothy Roebling raised black angus cattle there.

David Scott, PhD, PE, Professor and Chair of the Department of Civil Engineering and Construction at Georgia Southern University, will discuss the material needs of the future in general and transportation construction.

CRSI Update—Brett Lord & Danielle Kleinhans
Hear from Southeast Region Manager, Brett Lord, and President & CEO, Danielle Kleinhans, on the accomplishments made in the past year and what is on the horizon for the upcoming year.  

Dinner & Ghost Tour

We will start the evening off with a delightful dinner in downtown Savannah. Next we will be taken on an unforgettable journey into some of Savannah's most haunted...and creepy…bars and pubs. Along the way we'll be able to enjoy the great drinks that Savannah has to offer while walking from one bar to the next. We'll be entertained as we hear the stories of Savannah's dark past, and haunted present!

This event is included in the registration fee.

The Golf fee is $195/person, which includes the green fees, cart and a boxed lunch.

Dolphin Adventure Tour

Enjoy a narrated history of Savannah’s historic waterways, and savor the beauty of our scenic rivers, marshes, and barrier islands. Then…experience the excitement of watching the Atlantic Bottlenose dolphin as they play. We invite you to join us for this truly unforgettable adventure!

The Tour fee is $175/person, which includes a 2.5 hour private boat charter, lunch and beverages.
